The European Food Safety Authority - The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) is the keystone of European Union (EU) risk assessment regarding food and feed safety. In close collaboration with national authorities and in open consultation with its stakeholders, EFSA provides independent scientific advice and clear communication on existing and emerging risks.
European Federation of Asthma and Allergy Associations (EFA) - EFA is the European Federation of Allergy and Airways Diseases Patients’ Association, an alliance of 36 organisations in 20 different countries across Europe. The site has information on the aims of EFA and includes the EFA Board Members, an updated EFA Members list, the EFANews and a comprehensive EFA publications list.
Food intolerance (Food Standards Agency, UK) - This site contains information on food allergy and intolerance from the U.K government Food Standards Agency (FSA). The site has well written information for the general public including responses to frequent questions. There are also links to more detailed information aimed at the food industry. Examples aimed at the catering industry include a leaflet on allergy and a poster. The site also describes research on food allergy and intolerance funded by the FSA.
Information about Food Allergens (USFDA) - This is information on food allergy from the U. S. government Food and Drug Administration.
